PPGPL Publishes 1st ESG Report
Phoenix Park Gas Processors Limited (PPGPL) launched its first ESG report at its administrative office in Couva. Company president Dominic Rampersad presented the 2022 report to PPGPL’s chairman Dr. Joseph Khan. On the occasion, Mr. Rampersad expressed PPGPL’s commitment to transparency through reporting on key areas of business including environmental, social and governance. He noted that while there is a global emphasis on environmental and social matters, governance is equally important as it plays a critical role in the success and sustainability of a business. In commending PPGPL for producing its first report of its kind, Dr. Khan acknowledged the efforts of the Health, Safety and Sustainability team that worked on compiling the comprehensive report. While ESG reporting is required in certain countries, it is not a requirement in Trinidad and Tobago, however PPGPL chose to begin voluntary report, as it enters another phase in its ESG journey.

PPGPL SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH GHANA CONSORTIUM
On August 3, 2023 Phoenix Park Gas Processors Limited (PPGPL) signed a Technical Services Agreement with The Gas Gathering Limited (TGGL) of Ghana, a private consortium. Under this agreement, PPGPL will be providing technical and commercial advisory services, drawing on its expertise in the fields of process and mechanical engineering, project management, process operations, and commercial. This is a continuation of The NGC Group’s association with Ghana, to commercialize technical services in the Group’s thrust to globalize its operations in service of its mission and vision.
