
Mission to Safely Reach LaunchOn the heels of the Click for Life campaign last year, PPGPL has launched yet another national road safety campaign, Mission to Safely Reach. With an annual average of 200 road fatalities in Trinidad and Tobago, the issue of road safety is in need of urgent attention. As a safety leader in the energy sector, PPGPL has taken up the mantle to share its safety philosophy with the national community. In recognition of our 18th safety milestone achieved in 2010, we agreed to continue to focus on road safety.
Mission to Safely Reach is a joint initiative with Arrive Alive. It will target young drivers between the ages of 18 and 25 years who have limited driving experience. It will feature defensive driving training for young drivers at tertiary institutions, a face book page, a public education booth, 2 movie commercials and a poster distribution drive.
