PPGPL & NGC sign a new Gas Processing Agreement
Phoenix Park Gas Processors Limited and National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago signed a new gas processing agreement which extends the term of the existing gas processing right currently held by PPGPL for 1,350 MMscfd of gas, from its current expiration date of 2018 to a new end date of 2027. It also increases PPGPL’s gas processing right to include an additional 600 MMscfd of gas over the 20 year term. This increased processing right forms the key commercial basis which supports PPGPL’s proposed Phase 3 Gas Processing and Storage Expansion Project. This project encompasses construction of a new 600 MMscfd gas processing plant and a 250,000 barrel natural gasoline storage tank.
