On January 24 Ramroop Sookram turned the sod to begin construction of his home at Derry Lane Sonny Ladoo Trace, Mc Bean Couva. Mr. Ramroop is one of the recipients of affordable housing funded by PPGPL and administered by Habitat for Humanity.

PPGPL & NGC sign a new Gas Processing Agreement
Phoenix Park Gas Processors Limited and National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago signed a new gas processing agreement which extends the term of the existing gas processing right currently held by PPGPL for 1,350 MMscfd of gas, from its current expiration date of 2018 to a new end date of 2027.

On July 25, 2006 Phoenix Park Gas Processors Limited presented its 2005/2006 Gift the Nation-HOMES (Housing Our Most Exposed Siblings). This US250, 000 cash donation was handed over to Habitat for Humanity to provide affordable housing for needy families in Dow Village, California, Cali Bay, Claxton Bay and Couva.
